French Market is probably the only option for great cafe au lait.
If you have ever had a cafe au lait at Cafe Du Monde, then you know the experience is hard to beat.
Well here is a great reproduction using the French Market Coffee & Chicory K-Cup!
- Microwave 4 oz. of milk for a minute to scald it (iow: bring it very near boiling)
- Brew a French Market Coffee & Chicory K-Cup on the 4 oz. selection into the milk
- Sweeten to taste
- You’re welcome
The trick is to brew the coffee as strong as possible since you are cutting it by 50% with the milk. It did not have quite the same bite when I tried an 8 oz./8 oz. brew.
